SCG Launches New Car Finance Platform
SCG is delighted to announce the launch of our new car finance platform ‘CarStore’ in Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago. The new platform has been launched under the Compare brand in both markets makes is fast and easy for customers to compare finance options for their new car and apply instantly online, a new first for regional consumers.
As part of the new listings platform, CarStore will compare different finance options for customers and enable card dealers to generate sales leads from customers which have completed the finance affordability check and been validated by Compare agents over the phone. As a value add, the car listings platform will be offered free to all car dealers on Compare enabling them to also list new and used cars on their own websites.
The website and listings platform are designed first for mobile reflecting the fact that over 97% of finance applications made via Compare are on smartphones and tablet devices making it easy for consumers to use. The platform is free for consumers to use and enables them also see if they can afford finance on the car they want via our finance affordability calculator.
SCG Investment & Innovation
The new platform is part of a US$300,000 investment program in the CORE LMS and eLead platform in 2020 and marks the first product release from this investment. CORE LMS is a customer acquisition platform that makes is fast and affordable for providers to launch engaging and powerful customer acquisition tools on their websites including insurance quotes, credit approvals, product listings and price comparison. Leads can then be managed easily via the CORE LMS (Lead Management System) for a single low monthly fee.
The CarStore will also have a series of enhancements over the coming months with the launch of a new lease finance option, all-in-one finance option including insurance and a hire purchase option, all of which are also available to car dealers and car finance providers via our white-label solutions.
